The Woodworking Area is Open

Thanks to the generosity of many people, the woodworking area is now being enjoyed by the children during Choice Time.  These two boys, donning their personal protective equipment, were the first to try it out.
It takes a lot of coordination and concentration to hit the nail on the head.

Thanksgiving Activities

Making Cranberry Sauce

Can you hear the cranberries popping?

All done!  Mmm, Mmm!

Our class collected cereal and biscuit mix for the school-wide food drive.

Our eighth grade friends helped us decorate boxes to put our donations in.

CES provided 40 boxes of food to the local food bank.  Thank you for your donations!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Science Work

Our class is learning about forces and motion.  We are experimenting, asking and answering questions, and recording data on individual and class lab sheets.

Parents, if you haven't heard our Push or a Pull song, ask your child to sing it for you.

Classroom Beauties!

A big thank you to the parent volunteers who bring fresh flowers to our classroom every week.  They adorn our tables and make us smile.

Our first representation of our trees- September

Our Class Trees

Our class has adopted "The Twins" as our class trees.

We will document the changes we notice in our trees through the seasons.

Applesauce

We enjoyed applesauce made with apples from the school apple tree.  Yum!  Yum!
Many thanks to Mr. Alley and Mr. Stuart for climbing the tree and getting the apples for us.
